She has over 30 years of experience in land use and real estate law, and has represented institutions and developers in significant multi-million dollar developments in both downtown Chicago and in the suburbs. Becky’s work is guided by her belief that community thrives in well-designed places. Her extensive experience in community engagement and negotiations gives her a distinct skillset that helps clients and stakeholders work collaboratively to create these special types of places.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Art International Relations/Political Science from Colgate University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law. She was twice elected to public office, served for over 10 years on a plan commission, and led several governmental and charitable organizations through contentious public processes.
