Illinois College Of Optometry Campus Plan

The Lakota Group worked with the Illinois College of Optometry’s Education and Clinic Steering Committee to prepare a campus plan that would address potential expansion and facility improvements for this urban campus located on Chicago’s South Side. In addition to building development, Lakota created a plan that provided for a more solidified campus character. The plan included streetscape and open space enhancements, neighborhood linkages, street edges, sidewalks, pedestrian crosswalks, and parking areas. Multiple expansion, development, and cost scenarios were presented and incorporated into the final master plan.
