Cicero Connections Transit Area Implementation Plan

Coordinated and funded through the Regional Transportation Authority, The Lakota Group led a team of sub-consultants that included Goodman Williams Group and T.Y. Lin International, to explore future development and revitalization opportunities in transit-oriented locations throughout the Town of Cicero. Working hand in hand with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community, the Transit Area Implementation Plan established a long-range vision for key transit oriented areas within the Town. In developing the Implementation Plan, the project team provided community leaders with a guidebook for making well-informed decisions related to land use, transportation, open space, redevelopment, commercial district enhancements, infrastructure, and capital improvements.

The Transit Area Implementation Plan was formerly adopted by the town.
