The Lakota Group was tasked with advancing the wayfinding system recommendations provided within the recently adopted Paint Creek Trail Extension Plan in Lake Orion. Lakota worked with Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority and visited the Main Street Oakland County to review issues regarding signage design, installation locations, local conditions, and branded materials being considered in future signage.
Lakota provided detailed concept drawings, material and color palette, and a wayfinding/gateway signage map. The design carried forward initial logo and branding efforts designed by Arnett Muldrow & Associates.
