Winnetka Waterfront 2030

The Lakota Group led the development of Winnetka Waterfront 2030, a master plan for the Winnetka Park District’s five lakefront parks and beaches. In addition to acting as the facilitators of this lakefront planning process, Lakota undertook the engagement of residents and other stakeholders to actively participate in developing a shared community vision. The end result was a clear approach with detailed strategies for future enhancements of the District’s parks and beaches.

Winnetka Waterfront 2030 was the recipient of the American Planning Association-IL 2016 Strategic Plan Award.
