The Oaks of Vernon Hills

The Oaks of Vernon Hills is a 30 acre, 336-unit luxury, multifamily development in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Phase I, consisting of 304 units, was completed in fall 2015, and Phase II, comprised of 32 units, was completed in spring 2016.  The community includes a centrally located clubhouse, swimming pool, theater and gaming room, state-of-the-art fitness center, bocce ball court, dog park, walking trails and extensive green space.

The Lakota Group worked with Reva Development Partners to design the initial layout for the community which allowed many mature oak trees to be saved during construction.  Lakota also prepared detailed landscape plans for the entire site, amenity spaces and recreation areas.

The Oaks has earned the highly regarded Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council and is one of the greenest residential rental communities in suburban Chicago.
